Florida vacation

So the month of August has been one big vacation month. The boys and I have only been home for a week in August. We just got back from our Florida vacation. We stayed at the Waterscape which is awesome because of the kids pool area. Both boys enjoyed going down the water slide over and over again. I forgot my camera at home so I took all pictures with my phone. So the pictures are not the best but at least we have some.

Dare Devil 2

Levi loves to jump and pretty much do a belly flop in the kiddie pool.

One day we took a break from swimming and went to play goofy golf.

Joseph actually got a hole in one this shot.

I love the pool

On Friday Joe was off so we headed to the beach. There were so many waves because of the storm coming in.

Oh no watch out

Levi loved to sit on the beach and watch the water

Texas part 2

Also while we were in Texas we got to see Haley play softball. Joseph loved the games because he got to play with Bradley and his friends. He also loved asking everyone for money and going to the concession stand. Haley's team made it all the way to the Little League World Series in Portland, Oregon.

Haley and the boys at her going away party.

Haley is famous!! She was interviewed by the news.

One morning PawPaw and the boys cooked us breakfast.

Another highlight of the trip was Joseph and PawPaw going fishing. They went fishing 2 days and caught 5 fish. My dad aka PawPaw said he was more excited than Joseph when he caught the fish. I love how close my dad is with Joseph. They are best buds.

We also braved the hot temps and went to the zoo.

Joseph loves to get his picture taken with the animal statues. That boys is too funny.

Me and my boys

We hated to see our time in Texas come to an end, but we were really excited to get back home and see Joe!!

Texas Trip part 1

Our annual summer Texas trip was by far the hottest. We were in Texas for 20 days, and only one day was under 100 degrees. Even though it was so hot we made the most of our time. We would go out early in the morning before it would get too hot, and then we would go back out around 7:30 once there was more shade in the back yard. My parents bought a water slide so the boys would have something to do while on our visit. Lets just say it was a big hit by both boys.

PawPaw newest helper

On one trip to the mall my sister paid for Joseph to do the sky jump. He loved it.

We also took the boys to Kiddie Land. I used to go to Kiddie Land when I was little and I am pretty sure some of the rides are still there. It was fun seeing my boys enjoying a place that I enjoyed as a kid.

Can't go to kiddie land without riding the train!!

to be continued..............

Zoo trip

Thursday morning we woke up and decided to take a spontaneous trip to the zoo. This past week at the Columbus Zoo it was free for military families. I always try to take advantage of free stuff. This would be my first trip to Columbus Zoo by myself with the boys. What a great workout it was pushing those boys in the stroller.

Picnic lunch

Since our Disney trip Joseph has wanted to get his face painted. Of course he wanted a spider on his face.

Looking good!!

I can never go to the zoo or anything outdoors without getting a frozen lemon treat.

We had a wonderful trip, and both boys were very good. I love making memories with my boys.
