Happy Father's Day Joe

What a great day to spend honoring the father of my children!! Joe you are amazing father. The boys just adore you. Joseph gets so excited when you get home and he gets so mad if he sleeps late and misses seeing you in the morning. I love that you are a hands on father. You change diapers, underwear, give baths, and the list could go on forever. We LOVE you.

The day started with Joe and the boys sleeping in while I cooked breakfast. Sunday was pretty warm so we got Joseph's slip n slide out for him. He did not slide but he did run in the water naked. Not sure what is going on with Joseph, but the kid loves to be naked now. Then we enjoyed some popsicles for snack. For dinner I cooked Joe eggplant parmesan. It turned out really yummy. Iron Man

Joseph is obsessed with Iron Man well pretty much any super hero. But Iron man is by far his favorite. So on Friday Joseph got a package from my parents and inside was an iron man costume. He is in love. He wore the costume to Walmart, breakfast, children museum, and even bed. We finally were able to get it off him without to much of a fuss.

Happy anniversary Joe could not imagine going through our adventure with anyone else!!

Look who is sleeping in his bed!!

Mr. Levi has been sleeping in his bed for naps and at night time for a week now. He goes down for the night around 9 and sleeps until 2. After his 2am feeding he goes back to sleep until 5. But the worst is that at his 5am feeding he stays awake until after 6am and then he goes back to sleep for a couple of more hours. Not to bad but it could be better. He only like to sleep on his tummy just like his brother. (I know they prefer a newborn to sleep on his back) Joseph would only sleep on his tummy when he was a newborn.

Miniature Golf

A couple of weeks ago we ventured out as a family and took Joseph to play miniature golf. Joseph is a typical boy he loves all sports and right now golf is his favorite. Everyday he begs me to take him to the golf store. The weekend before Memorial weekend we went and bought Joe some used golf clubs so he could play in a work golf tournament so that is what started Joseph obsession with going to the golf store. While my parents were here they bought Joseph a new sandbox. I think the sandbox is his favorite outside toy. Personally I hate the sandbox because he like to dump the sand on his head or he likes to lay in the sandbox. Needless to say the kid is constantly covered in sand.

Before Levi was born Joe and I purchased Joseph's a new swing set. It sat in the garage until after Levi was born. We thought since everything was changing for him that we would surprise him. He loves to swing now. Before he never really cared about swing so I am just surprised that now he loves to swing. I just love our backyard because of all the shade so it is usually pretty nice outside for him to play outside.
