Video games, chocolate pretzels, and birthday cakes

The past week Joseph has really taken an interest in playing video games. He really loves playing the Wii and frogger on the playstation. Here are some pictures.






Then Joseph became quite a fan of chocolate pretzels. So instead of paying $3 dollars for a small pack I decided to make them. Here are some pictures of Joseph helping me.







Then today Joseph and Joe baked me a birthday cake. Joseph demanded on making me a hitball cake. (football cake) Here are some pictures.

Since we got back from Texas we have had a alot of snow days. Not sure how much we have gotten, but I do know it will be around for a while. Even today it is snowing again. I can't wait until spring. Here are some pictures of Joseph playing in the snow.

We as in Joe and I are very happy that our new house has a playroom. We were so tired of toys in the livingroom and in Joseph's bedroom. I mean how do you put a 3 yr old in timeout if all of his toys are in his room?

This kid makes me laugh

So this afternoon I hear Joseph yelling "I am in here" over and over again. So I run to find what he has gotten himself into and this is what I found.

I forgot to close Levi's bedroom door. Needless to say now Levi's bedroom is closed and he can't get in there. I am glad he did not get hurt.

Our trip to Texas

Joseph and I traveled back to Texas for a two stay with my parents. We had a wonderful time and we did have 3 days of sunshine. Here are some pictures from our trip.

During the three days of sunshine we took advantage and went to the zoo.







While we were there we celebrated Joseph's birthday for a second time. I really hope he does not get used to that. This time he helped me make his cake. I did not get any pictures of that but he really enjoyed helping. I guess I really need to include him in baking from now on.







I also took Joseph to a basketball game. Our friend John Weeks team was playing so we met Alison and Kendal to watch the game. Here some attempts to get get both 3yr olds to look at the camera. Kendal looks taller because she was standing on a step.





I also took Joseph to get his hair cut. Joe was threatening me that if I did not get his hair cut that he was going to shave Joseph's head. So since I never want my baby with a shaved head ever again I took him in. He did so great. He sat in the jeep like a big boy and got his hair cut. Here are some pictures.
