End of summer Sea World trip

 

I can't believe summer is almost over. It is bittersweet for me. I am ready to have the boys in school because they seemed to be getting bored, but I am going to miss them home. So before Joseph starts school we decided to head to Orlando and go to Sea World. The boys loved it. Joseph could ride almost all the rides, and he can't wait to go next year so he can ride the Manta. Dock Levi (he decided that he is going to go by both first and middle name now) loved the whale ride. It was a smaller roller coaster that he insisted on riding over and over again.

First thing we did was see the Shamu show. Since the accident back in 2010 the trainers do not get in the water with the killer whales.

On the way home we stopped at a gas station that sold a lot of gator heads. Joseph wanted us to buy one but they were pretty pricey.

We had a great time. Million thanks to my mom for coming and watching Emma because I do not think she would of liked staying at Sea World for almost 11 hours in the heat.

School supplies date

 

I started the traditions last year that each school year we would have a special date to buy supplies and also have lunch together. Even though it might be time consuming I am going to keep up with this tradition even when all three are getting school supplies. I love having traditions for my family. So today was our date. My mom is here so she watched the little ones so we were able to go during the week.

We were excited that daddy was able to meet us for lunch.

 

 

I love being able to spend one on one time with this little guy. It seems like an eternity since it was just us two during the day.

Levi's 1st dentist appointment

 

Today I took both boys in for a cleaning. This would be Levi's first time to the dentist. So I thought it would be a good idea for Joseph to go first to show Levi what happens.

Beach

 

We finally made it to the beach!! All 3 kids loved playing in the water and sand. Emma enjoyed crawling around and into the water. I was not sure if she would like it but she did. Here are some pictures of our day or couple of hours at the beach.

 

 

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!! I love this holiday. When we rented this house I could see that the 4th was going to be our first holiday in the house. My parents were going to be with us so I was thinking swimming and grilling out. Well it rained the whole day before and the day of the 4th. It did stop raining enough for Joe to grill and for us to get in the pool for a few minutes. (the water was cold) Maybe next year will be different. Besides family fun I look forward to dressing the kids in red, white, and blue and getting a few pictures of them. WELL......
